## How We Handle Silestone Slabs

Because Silestone comes through distribution, our inspection step matters even more:

1.  **Order** your chosen colour and record the batch details.
2.  **Inspect on arrival** for colour, pattern and any surface defects.
3.  **Compare** to your sample and tag the slab for your job.
4.  **Cut** on CNC bridge saws and waterjet, with edges profiled on CNC.
5.  **Install** in a day with sink and faucet reconnection.

A Richmond Hill homeowner specifically wanted Silestone HybriQ+ for the lower crystalline silica content, driven by workplace safety research the owner had done. We ordered through Cosentino distribution (Silestone is not one of our direct accounts), inspected and tagged the two slabs on arrival in our shop, and fabricated them with wet-cutting dust control to OHSA spec. Full kitchen replacement including island, perimeter and full-height backsplash was installed over two days.
